Peppermint Essential Oil and Acupressure-Do They Help Relieve Menopausal Symptoms? (1)
Share
We first began to use essential oils with our acupressure bracelets a few years ago. We do our due diligence and read as much literature on these subjects as possible-with some of our main resources/references the National Library of Medicine, Healthline, and Medical News Today. We take what we have learned and add aromatherapy to some of our acupressure bracelets. Let's talk about the benefits of both natural therapies.
Acupressure acu·pres·sure the application of pressure (as with the thumbs or fingertips) to the same discrete points on the body stimulated in acupuncture that is used for its therapeutic effects (such as the relief of tension or pain).
What are acupressure bracelets? Pressure point bands with an inner rounded acupressure bead that places pressure on certain acupressure points located on the wrist that naturally calm symptoms of anxiety, nausea, tension, menopausal symptoms and much more. Acupressure bracelets have been found to be effective in the relief of nausea, anxiety, tension headaches, menopausal symptoms, vertigo, carpal tunnel with more studies underway.
Aromatherapy aro·ma·ther·a·py the inhalation or bodily application (as by massage) of fragrant essential oils (as from flowers and fruits) for therapeutic purposes.
An aromatherapy or scented acupressure bracelet combines the benefits of acupressure and scent together.
Which leads us to our newest achievement with adding these two alternative therapies together- One of our scented bracelets made the Best Reviews Guide of the Best Natural Remedies for Hot Flashes December 2022 Edition
